Taji's After Six - Dapper
Dapper was born in the USA in 2013 and he moved to the Czech Republic in 2016.

He is first and foremost a very friendly male, he has a really sweet character and is a true tail wagger. Because Basenjis can be quite aloof and sometimes rather unpleasant in contact with other dogs or people, we find this extremely important.
Besides his lovely temperament, Dapper is also correctly built and he compliments Maeva on some important points. Not surprisingly, Dapper has done really well in the show ring: He's not only American champion, but he's a Grand Champion! His mother is the gorgeous black and white Taji's Klassic Lil Black Dress, who, in addition to being a Grand Champion, has also won BISS five times! As cherry on the cake Dapper loves to lure course as well. He has the right mindset on the field and he enjoys the action.

Suaralayn Chaos Junkie - Maeva
The mother of this litter is our lovely half African Maeva (Suaralayn Chaos Junkie). She was born at our home and she is the first daughter of Aoide from her 2015 "Shameless" litter. Her father Mosika was imported from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2010 and he has lived in the USA ever since. He is part of the 'BCOA African Stock Project'.

Maeva is just a joy to have around. She has a passion for everything that involves action: hikes, cycling, track racing, lure coursing, agility, obedience, shows, mantrailing.. you name it, she loves it and she always gives one hundred percent! This has already resulted in quite a few first places in competitions at the race track, lure coursing and agility. Maeva also does really well in the show ring: this year she won her final point for her Dutch championship title for example!
Besides, and on top of all these achievements Maeva is very social towards people and dogs of all ages and sizes. She's never obtrusive or hyperactive, but meets strange and familiar people and dogs in a calm and relaxed manner. Her own humans are greeted every morning with a tail wag and a loud yodel though! At home Maeva loves to sleep on the couch with us and/or her mother Aoide and Mirtillo, but she also enjoys keeping an eye on the neighborhood (cats) from the windowsill. And if she gets the chance, she won't hesitate to taste what you're eating and drinking.. ;)

The puppies
Maeva gave birth to two tricolor boys and three red and white girls Friday afternoon, December 1st. Unfortunately the first girl was a stillborn. A sad beginning, but the other four puppies were luckily strong and vivid. The pedigree names of the puppies all refer to a Turin Brakes' song.
