Co-own
Next to being pleasant companions, we also want the Basenjis we breed to be valuable for the population. This is why we try to make sure that at least one descendant out of every combination we make stays available for breeding. Of course we can't keep everything ourselves. And we understand that most owners aren't interested in showing or breeding. Therefore we sometimes choose to place a promising puppy in 'co-own'. This means that the dog lives with his own people, but is shown and perhaps used for breeding by us.
