No.. Not a Basenji, indeed. But he’s got the ears and markings right! And he has got enough attitude! Besides all this, he belongs to the family and because of that he deserves a page on this website. Sonar is an Arabian colt, who’s been mine since November 2011. I saw the photo shoot of him at the beach and I immediately knew that this was going to be my horse. You can imagine I am extremely happy and proud to be his owner!
Although Sonar’s breeders gave him the beautiful name DM Kasanova, I still decided to change it to Sonar. This name consist of both his parents’ names, Soleda and Kunar T, and it means ‘to sound’ or ‘to look or sound familiar’ in Spanish. For the ones paying attention: yes, this fits into the ‘theme’ perfectly and it makes me feel that by carrying this name he’s a true member of ‘the pack’.
