Tonda is the firstborn of our "Shameless" litter, which makes him the first Basenji to carry our kennel name. His pedigree name "Orange Boy" refers to Ian Gallagher, the third child in Frank and Monica's family. Because of the color of his hair Ian gets called 'orange boy' by Svetlana, the Russian wife of his friend Mickey. We thought this name would fit any red and white Basenji boy, but especially a Dutch boy living abroad!
Tonda lives together with his two 'brothers' in the Czech Republic. His owners spend a lot of time at the coursing field, cheering on their Basenji boys. Tonda definitely has talent for this hunting game and he started competing successfully in 2016. Tonda has also been shown and has had some lovely results already.
