After the success walk with Mirtillo, Aoide and Lizzy two weeks ago it was time for a repeat walk. This time Jamez and Lara joined as well. All dogs had a great time and of course the owners enjoyed it as well. Back at home the dogs were all happy to catch some sleep :)

We had another photo shoot today. It was outdoor this time, which was great with this lovely weather! The shoot was organized by a Dutch horse forum, but the models were supposed to be dogs, so Mirtillo and Aoide were the subjects again. There were multiple photographers present and as soon as we receive their pictures, we will share them with you all!

We took some pictures of Aoide ourself as well. She was tired at the end of the shoot and decided to lay on Janneke's bag. The pictures of that moment can be found here.

Yesterday was the first race track training of 2012. Time for Mirtillo to stretch his legs. And he did! Pure joy for him and for us. Especially with the lovely spring weather we are having over here at the moment.

Job made some pictures of Mirtillo's finish with Aoide in his lap. She had fun too. There were two Whippet pups to play with and she was also very fond of the adult Whippets.

On Sunday morning Aoide has puppy training organized by the Gehoorzame huishond in Amersfoort and yesterday was her first time. The puppies in her class are all very different in size. At first she was a little bit impressed by them all and the new environment, but she was brave enough to meet the others and play with them. 

The first ten minutes of the lesson were reserved for off leash playing. After that it was time for the more 'serious' stuff. For next week we have to practise following the hand.

Yesterday we went to The Hague for a photo shoot by Ernst von Scheven. Of course, we have not received the pictures yet, but on the left you can see a small preview. We are very excited to see the other pictures!

Tomorrow Aoide will go to puppy class for the first time! We're very much looking forward to it!

Aoide and Lizzy had a playdate yesterday and Mirtillo was allowed to join as babysitter. Lizzy is a Small Munsterlander of 9.5 weeks old owned by a friend from agility. The girls first got to know eachother in Lizzy's garden and after that we made a nice walk through the park. 

The girls had a blast and it got even better when there was an A-frame present! 

On our way home it was really quiet in the back of the car ;)

Last friday we drove to Poland to pick up Aoide. We had a lovely weekend at Tomek's and Dorota's home and yesterday we headed home with our little princess. Of course we also brought Mirtillo and he had a good time as well.

The first night at our home was a success. Aoide slept in her crate next to our bed and, probably tired of the journey, did so without whining. We put our alarm at 5 o'clock to walk her and again at 8 o'clock to start the day and she was so patiently waiting for us to get dressed, superb! When Tillo finally woke up we made a long walk through the neighborhood. She was mostly carried on my arm, but there was also time for some off leash running and playing and meetings with other dogs. She's a brave little girl!

This morning we made a lovely Basenji walk in a forrest in Bosch en Duin. This walk was organized by the Dutch Basenji Club. There were eight Basenjis present, six males and two females. Allthough we know that Basenjis aren't always the easiest with other dogs/Basenjis, I can tell you that there was not even a small growl heard. It was a nice walk for both owner and Basenji :) Definitely worthy of repeating :)
