Aoide was shown at the international dog show in Lingen, Germany, today. For some reason the organisation thought it was a good idea to show the Basenjis outdoor, haha. It was very cold, but fortunately Aoide did okay anyway. She got a 1 Excellent in champion class with CAC and she became reserve best bitch with the reserve CACIB. If I counted correctly, Aoide only needs one more German CAC for her German championship title!

Judge was dr. W. Peper and this was his write-up about Aoide: 'scissor bite. Feminine bitch. Excellent head and expression. Excellent topline, proportions, hindquarters and tail. Correct paws and chest. Excellent coat. In movement correct in the back, but in front a bit soft in the elbows and a bit narrow.'

The judge also measured all the dogs and although everybody always thinks Aoide is very tiny.. She really is exactly 40 cm high!

We are again very proud of Suaralayn Chaos Junkie "Maeva"! This morning she was shown at the international dog show 'De Utrecht'. She got an Excellent in Youth class and earned her second JCAC! The judge was Mrs. A.M.Th. Gielisse. She wrote a lovely critique:

"15 months. Bitch of beautiful type. Feminine appearance. Nice size. Good head with beautiful expression. Lovely wrinkles on head. Ears could be a fraction smaller. Nice transition from neck to back, nice topline. Good angulation in front and hind legs, very balanced. Beautiful bone and good feet. Tail could be slightly better, it's carried a bit open. Lovely thigh, well muscled. Nice colour and coat. Already moves very pure for her age."
