Fortunately, the other G-force members performed a lot better! At the end of the day our team was 16th out of 21 teams. The next match will be on December 9th in Bunschoten.

Mirtillo and I compete in the winter competition together with our training group. Of course we mainly entered to have fun and to gain experience! Our team name is 'G-force Speed Almere'. Last Sunday we had our first match in Nieuwe Wetering. Mirtillo was his stubborn self and decided to run off to explore the course by himself. It got us three DQs. It was our first indoor match, so hopefully that is what caused it ;) Fortunately, the other G-force members performed a lot better! At the end of the day our team was 16th out of 21 teams. The next match will be on December 9th in Bunschoten. Pictures of last Sunday can be found here.

Last Sunday we drove all the way to Hannover for an international dog show. It was an opportunity for Aoide to win her third and last point for her German (VDH) youth championship. The judge was Walter Schicker and this was his judge report:
"Builed correctly and for her age well developed. Correctly proportioned head with feminine expression. Correctly positioned, dark eyes. Hooded ears. Wrinkles on forehead. Smooth neck. Straight forelegs. Good coat. Tail is set high and is carried in a curl over the spine. Movement is already very well coordinated" Aoide got a 1 Excellent and earned her third JCAC, which makes her a brand new German Youth Champion at the age of only 10 months! We are so very proud of her! Unfortunately we left the camera in the car, so no pictures of Aoide during the show. I did add the beautiful stack photo of Aoide that was made during the international Grand Prix coursing. |
