Yesterday we spent some lovely hours in the sand dunes. This is such an amazing place for the dogs to stretch their legs! As soon as they felt the sand between their toes and saw the large plain area, they were off! Below you find a selection of the pictures that Job took. You can see the large version by clicking on the picture. The complete set can be found here!

We were in Bergschenhoek yesterday for the National Coursing Competition organized by the WRZ. This was the first competition that allowed Basenjis to compete in a special 'Basenji run'. Last week we got the news that Basenjis can now run for LC and racing licenses as a trial. With these licenses they can compete in official matches. To get a license, the dogs need to be judged on their LC or racing capacities. Yesterday it was possible to get judged for the LC licenses and four out of six were OK'ed for their LC license! One of them being our Mirtillo! He had two great runs and we are really proud of his third place and his good judgement for his license, which makes it possible to enter future LC competitions! More information about the trial with the licenses can be found below. Both files are in Dutch. Yesterday's results can also be found below and Job's pictures can be found here.
