We were in Bergschenhoek yesterday for the National Coursing Competition organized by the WRZ. This was the first competition that allowed Basenjis to compete in a special 'Basenji run'.
Last week we got the news that Basenjis can now run for LC and racing licenses as a trial. With these licenses they can compete in official matches. To get a license, the dogs need to be judged on their LC or racing capacities. Yesterday it was possible to get judged for the LC licenses and four out of six were OK'ed for their LC license! One of them being our Mirtillo! He had two great runs and we are really proud of his third place and his good judgement for his license, which makes it possible to enter future LC competitions!
