Tonda (Suaralayn Orange Boy) spent his holiday in the Netherlands last week, together with his owners and Basenji brothers. They arrived on Saturday and joined us at the Basenji Cup on Sunday, where Tonda won a beautiful second place! On Tuesday we went to the zoo with six Basenjis and Tonda and his family came for dinner on Thursday night. It was an absolute joy to see them all again!

The Basenji Cup was held at the race track in Oude Pekela last Sunday. Maeva won this race last year and she brought the 1.7 meter cup home then. Unfortunately this year she couldn't compete, because she's in heat. Aoide and Mirtillo did compete though. And even better: Tonda and his two Basenji brothers were there as well all the way from the Czech Republic! Tonda even ended up second! Aoide became sixth and Mirtillo ninth. The weather and company were great and we are already looking forward to next year's race!

​Suaralayn Chaos Junkie "Maeva" (Ntomba Mosika x Aoide Princess of Burudika) participated in her first (unofficial) agility competition today.

She won a first and second place and she became "Talent of the day"! We are so very proud of this multi-talented girl!

We are very proud of Mirtillo who became BISS Veteran at the Dutch Basenji Specialty last Saturday. His daughter Torvi (Bahira of Jicho Nyota) became BISS puppy! Two of his other daughters from Germany were shown as well. Joya (Basima of JN) became second and Bee (Bea of JN) fourth in puppy class with a Very Promising. It was the first show for all three (and for the owners)! Thank you for joining and big congrats to you all!

Aoide was shown in champion class, she was placed third with an Excellent. Maeva had a day off ;)
