Tonda (Suaralayn Orange Boy) spent his holiday in the Netherlands last week, together with his owners and Basenji brothers. They arrived on Saturday and joined us at the Basenji Cup on Sunday, where Tonda won a beautiful second place! On Tuesday we went to the zoo with six Basenjis and Tonda and his family came for dinner on Thursday night. It was an absolute joy to see them all again!
 Tonda and his mom Aoide  Suaralayn Chaos Junkie "Maeva" (Ntomba Mosika x Aoide Princess of Burudika) participated in her first (unofficial) agility competition today. She won a first and second place and she became "Talent of the day"! We are so very proud of this multi-talented girl! Maeva ran two clean runs for her racing license (track) and she is now allowed to participate in official competitions!
Suaralayn Chaos Junkie "Maeva" was shown at the international dog show in Rotterdam today. She won her fourth CAC, which makes her a brand new Dutch Champion! The judge was Mrs. Rita McCarry-Beattie (IE) and this was her critique: "Very pleasing head and eye. Good reach of neck. Well placed shoulder. Nicely balanced outline. Moves very soundly in both directions. A little close behind. Excellent temperament."  A very exciting litter is planned at kennel Asthenia in the Czech Republic! "Our" handsome half African Suaralayn Orange Boy "Tonda" (Ntomba Mosika x Aoide Princess of Burudika) will be bred to the very pretty and friendly Ebun (Enzi Ebun Salasirian). Red and white and tricolour puppies are expected. If you are interested in a Tonda x Ebun puppy please contact Irena!  Maeva (Suaralayn Chaos Junkie) was shown at the national dog show in Venray today. She got a 1 Excellent in open class and became reserve best bitch with reserve CAC. Judge was Mr. G. van den Bosch (BE) and he wrote a beautiful critique: "Two years old. Beautiful feminine type. Good size. Head with beautiful expression. Correctly placed and carried ears. Dark eye of good shape. Correct bite. Gorgeous neck. Good back/top line and underline. Correct tail set and carriage. Good angulation in front and rear. Wrists could be a bit stronger. Moves very easy/freely. 1 Excellent. Reserve CAC." Today we received this beautiful picture of Pippa!  A week ago I made official X-rays of Pippa's (Suaralayn Pollyanna Principle) and Maeva's (Suaralayn Chaos Junkie) hips and elbows. Today we received the results from the Dutch Kennel Club and... ...both girls have excellent hips (HD A) and are ED free!
